For over two decades, Stargaze Dance Academy has been the trusted heart of dance in Egerton Bolton, providing a nurturing environment where high-quality instruction is just the beginning. Our mission is to create a professional, safe home where every student builds the resilience and self-esteem to thrive both on and off the dance floor.

Delivering specialist tuition in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Cheer Dance, and performance work with true community spirit, we ensure our dancers gain confidence for life and the perfect foundation for a successful future.

Where It all Began

Since 2005, Miss Gemma has brought the world-class excellence of her Disney Cruise Line career to our local community. What began as a vision for professional training has grown into an award-winning dance school, with a 20-year legacy of building confidence through dance.

From a toddler’s first steps to our Elite Show Team performing in New York, we celebrate our 20th Anniversary by continuing to inspire the next generation with high-quality dance and a touch of professional magic.

Our Amazing Teachers

Miss Gemma Plumb

Gemma is a fully qualified ISTD dance teacher in Ballet, Modern Theatre, and Tap, and a certified UKA Cheerleading coach. With extensive training and over 20 years of teaching experience, she is passionate about delivering high-quality dance education in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Gemma began her professional career as a dancer and Disney Princess onboard Disney Cruise Line, performing in Broadway productions while travelling internationally. She founded Stargaze Dance Academy in Egerton in 2005, and is now dedicated to inspiring the next generation of performers.

In 2019, Gemma completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies, further enhancing her understanding of child development. This allows her to combine technical training with a caring, age-appropriate approach that builds confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance.

This unique blend of "Disney magic", elite training and nurturing approach makes her a favorite among our students, helping them build life-long confidence, resilience, and a true passion for dance

Miss Samantha Killick

ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre | Cheer/Acro | SEN specialist

Miss Sam brings wealth of industry expertise as an ex-professional dancer and fully qualified ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre teacher.

Alongside running her own Musical Theatre school, she is also experienced as a dedicated SEN primary teacher.

This unique blend of technical mastery and inclusive teaching makes her popular with our students, helping them to build confidence, resilience, and stage presence.

Miss Evie Mangnall

Dance Assistant

A dedicated student for 13 years, Evie truly embodies our dance family spirit.

As our front-desk expert, she is your go-to for uniforms and studio information, using her lifelong experience to guide our new families.

Evie ensures every young dancer feels safe, happy, and excited from their very first day, helping to create the fun, nurturing environment that makes Stargaze Dance Academy feel like a second home.

We recommend comfortable dancewear (tights, leotards, or tracksuit pants) and appropriate shoes. Uniform details are shared at enrolment.

How do I book a class?

Are your teachers fully vetted?

Absolutely. All of our "Inspirational Mentors" are fully qualified, hold enhanced DBS checks, are fully insured, and have up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training. Providing a professional, safe space is our non-negotiable standard.
